Friday night Jess and I went fishing at the point to try and catch fish before the spillway destroys the fishing. We met up with dirty talking Bruno and Joyce. It started slow but we were having fun and then I hooked into a 15 lb Black Drum, I fought it for about 20 minutes and landed it. I am now in Bruno’s West End Point Exceptional Fish Photo Album. Saturday I went for a 25 mile ride with Jonah. We went to Levee and about 5 miles into we were joined by what Jonah called “the Obi-Wan Kenobi” of cycling. His name is Bob, 72 years old and probably one of coolest cyclist I have ever met. It was a really good ride and I must give Jonah some props for going into CC’s sporting his Lycra to get us some ice coffee.
Sunday Tom Boonon won the Paris Roubaix. Big George had another bike mishap but still finished 9th overall.
