GDC is always an interesting conference. The attendees are mostly programers and not artist which I am used to dealing with. I kinda have to wing it and act like I know what they are talking about. When I do recognize something they say ,usually having to do with Max scripting, I get really excited and want to keep the conversation going so I dont have to talk about something I know nothing about. I do get the occasional artist that I can demo directly to but for the most part a programmer will come by and ask me about the coding within the software. But the most interesting part of the show is the parties. When game programmers do get and get down they do with a style that you will not see anywhere else. Last night I saw one of our guys dressed in all leather and dancing with a Chrystal Ball. I dont judge the guy because everyone has their own thing and who I am I to judge.
