I got a phone call today from Walt saying his client didnt show and he had time to do my tattoo. I hadnt slept well the night before because I was up working and I am still a little sore from Sundays race. I opted to do it anyway because I am leaving for Vegas on Sunday and then traveling to Cali for the GDC. I thought this might be my last chance before leaving. Well, sitting down to a 4 hour tattoo when you are not prepared for it is a challenge. I whined like a baby and Walt patiently urged me to go on. Lara said something along the lines of “kind of ironic gettting a tatto of the Madonna del Ghisallo on your leg. She said it like the roubaix statement “why do you keep jabbing your head with a fork ‘because it feels good when I stop’”.
