I love being in San Fran
but I also love coming home. I spent the weekend fishin’
and workin with Lilah. Now let me tell you that Lilah is cute but she can produce things from her little body that are not cute at all. I am remembering how much energy a new puppy takes. She is a sweet puppy and she is very smart and wants to please. She can also get into a crazed  snapping frenzy like a piranha and Amber is usually her victim.

Working my ass off is always enjoyable. I get to see the new technologies and play with the new toys. San Fran is a good place for the GDC. Me and Lara left San Fran and went and met some of her family for a few hours. Her aunt and unle are awesome. They have 4 dogs, 7 cats, 2 rats and a bearded dragon. I was in pet heaven. We then left and went to her other aunt and uncles house and chatted it out for a while. It was alot of fun and a good break of the geek world. We got to huck and amys house and I was relieved that Amy was asleep and huck was on his way because me and lara were soooo tired.
Tonight I am meeting up with my friend mark,  Huck, amy and i am going to try and contact those cov girls.

Dinner with Huck, Amy and Lara was the agenda for the last couple of days. I love the bay area and the different daily operations that take place here. Lara used to live here so she knows her way around. It was hard to leave the puppy but Rose is taking good care of her. I am having a great time and absorbing a ton of information. It has kindled some ideas and I am excited to get back to follow through with them.
Gifts are coming from every direction and I seem to have found a few that were lost.

Thursday started out to be a bit of a bummer. I worked and went to my classes and set up some appointments. I went to the brew house to meet up with Lara and Cass. I invited Jonah but he said he was too sick. I had some oysters with cass, lara and my mom. We decided to go get a drink at the R bar. Me and Lara rode our bikes and when we got there I was greeted by 50+ of my closest friends (Too sick Jonah included) both old and new. I was completely shocked because I got fooled and I usually catch on. Not this time. Lara got the food catered by mimis and Erin made me a red velvet cake. It was so much fun.  I had to work the morning of my bday. I went to the Track as planned and then went to get tattooed. Well me and Randy found out that the one we decided would not work because of the Horizon line did not match the perspective. We drew for hours until we decided that there was an overlooked solution that we needed to sleep on to figure out.

Sunday was Lilah day. She is sweet, cute and awesome. We were really worried about Amber being upset. Amber really likes her.

Well since I am not eating meat other than seafood and I caught all of those fish I had to get a little
creative with my meals. Tuesday I made a fish soup with saffron, tomato
and shrimp. It was yummmy. Last night we made a creole pan seared fish
w/ asparagus and leek and potatoe soup. It was awesome because it
seemed as if the weather called for them.
Tomorrow I turn 31. I am going to the track with family and friends and then I am going to go get mt tattoo worked on. I have not had any work done to it since last year. I am more than ready. I decided to work on the inner bi-cep because I knew that if I did not finish that part it would never get done.

I went to a garage sale on Saturday and purchased a bunch of old punk and metal CDs, 2 for $1. I got some DK, Circle Jerks,   Danzig, Slayer ect ect ect. Theres no wonder on why I had an authority complex in high school. These songs are great motivaters to rebel. I am so glad I chose the peers I did.

The long awaited Brooks saddle came in yesterday at Bayou Bicycles . I took off from work and headed over to Mid City to pick up the saddle for Lara. If you have never ridden one of these jewels and not all that worried about weight I definatley suggest purchasing one these babies. They are worth it. I cant wait to put it on her bike tonight. Once her bike is done (next week) it is going to be beautiful.
