Much done Sunday, Dec 5 2004
Uncategorized 1:38 pm
It is Sunday at around noon. I still have lots to do but
I have gotten lots accomplished. Here is what I have done so far:
Friday night I posted some pictures and maps to Duende
. I also went and took pictures and did some modeling for the project I
am working on. I met Lara at 2 am and we helped a very intoxicated
friend walk his bike home. We woke up on Saturday and went had
breakfast and then made some groceries. That was very important because since we have been back from our trip we have eatin out every meal. Dancer showed up at 3 and we re-did my entire Internet
set up. We changed the wireless router set up a new firewall and put an
80211G card on my desktop. It alleviated all of the excess wires and I
was able to move the furniture around in the work room to create an
organized open work area. I did some 3D work Saturday night but I was a
little burnt from working all day. I went and met up
with Lara at 2 am and we were able to spend some important time
together. This morning when we went to breakfast I was able to talk to
a friend of mine who runs a downtown courier service. She is going to
get me on with them as soon as an opening comes up.
I am putting
the surround sound system in the front room tomorrow. I did not get to
do the Giro due to weather but I am getting on rollers this afternoon.
Notes
from the alcohol adventure: I heard several times this past week "you
look so healthy", "you have a glow about you" and "your on fire right
now". So here are some questions I have: Is it the time saved from not
being in the bar? Is it the fact that I was actually just scraping by
health wise? Is it that I have to find something to do besides drink in
the pub? Is it that my body has time to heal? I don’t know for sure yet. I am writing down these observations to make decisions in the future. I don’t ever want to be like I was. I don’t regret it but I am older and beyond the youthful party/social life. I want to grow mentally and physically. I don’t want to just age.
