I haven’t had time to post in the last few days but everything is getting back to normal. I started a new section on CHOMPS for adventures. I started a new blog in adventures for my Guatemala trip called Duende . It is not finished I just uploaded some pictures and a test post. I will be posting over the next few days everything about the trip includin sound, pictures and a small video clip. I hope to create some maps also.
If you missed Lance Armstrong on overhaulin, here are some pics of the finished car. Also there is a special on the History Channel this Sunday about Ben Franklin . I read through the ANECDOTES & FACTS and realized that he might have been the biggest influence in the making of this country. I cant think of anyone as accomplished as he was.
Here is an update on the alcohol removal system: Tomorrow makes two weeks and I feel really good. I am in the process of changing my habits. The vacation was good because I was forced to break my daily habits. I stay away from the bar rooms unless I am going to go meet Lara when she gets off of work. I am also trying to watch my coffee intake because I dont want to replace one habit with another. I have created several projects to keep myself occupied. I am trying to focus on goals such as the Tour and have considered bicycle delivery at night to raise the money so I don’t have to rely on sponsors. I think that delivering on weekend nights would be good because I can be social and also have something to do. We totaled up the entire trip without any help and it will be $16,500 per person. I know that I can get some help but I think that if I save at least $10,000 I can cover the basics. I have over a year to do it.
