What a wonderful perfect Wedding. Everyone in the wedding was holding back tears of joy. A perfect couple joined by love. “Its about time” is an under-statement. Friends from all over showed up, Camille and Doug to name a few. I had a great time and I was honored to be in the wedding. Here are a few pics from Shonahs wedding. I will post more pics later.

Last nights dream was as crazy as the night before. I was walking and passed under a bowling alley sign, it was old and looked like somewhere on Tulane ave. I went into a shoe store and a sales man showed a pair of black cowboy boots for $5. They were the wrong size but I tried them on anyway. They were a perfect fit. Then he tried to talk me out of buying them. I noticed there was water covering the floor and I just happened to have my fishing poles with me. I began fishing with a treble hook lure and I had a big strike. I pulled it in and it was a small fish I thought was just a baby goggle-eye. Upon further investigation I realized that it was not a goggle-eye. It had scales like a koosh ball and it had a little lure like an anglerfish. I kept trying to get the hook out of its mouth but couldn’t do it. I figured out that I was going about it all-wrong and put the fish back in the water where he ended up releasing himself. I got the pair of boots and left with a very satisfied feeling.
Doug is picking me up with Jonah to get fitted for the suit then go watch the debate at the Rbar. I am trying to finish up 13 separate HTML docs today and have them sent out before I leave. Arghhhhhhh.

It all started when my bosses put me in charge of a flight to the moon. The spacecraft was a lot like spaceship 1 and I wasn’t the pilot but I my job was really important. I was with 2 co-workers both of them are programmers. When we reached the moon we all got off the ship and began to wonder around wearing oxygen suits. Suddenly we were in a grocery store on the moon. Some of my friends were there and everyone was really happy that we made it. They started cheering and lights on the cash registers started blinking and sirens were going off. There were these strange space/sea creatures floating/swimming around. It was beautiful. I noticed that we were the only ones wearing space suits. I asked my friend little Heather “why” and she replied, “we are not really here and we used a new console to get here,” I said “a console?” and she said “yeah, like a real small x box”

I was up late last night hanging out with Lara while she did her project. Tomorrow Doug will be coming into town for Jonahs wedding. We are going to go pick up the tuxedos and go watch the debate. I am excited to see Doug and catch up with him.

Well Jonah definately did it right. We had a great meal and then a fun filled evening. We ended up at the New Orleans Film Festival party at the founddation room. It was nice to have the posse together for a night. I ended up splitting up with the guys aroun 4 and going off on my own. I walked home in the middle of TS Mathew. I was pushed around by the wind and pelted with rain. Lara waited up for me and we chatted about the evening. I had this mysterious brown funk on my leg and foot. We ended up figuring out that it was a pack of ciggys that got soaked in my pocket. They excreted there nasty funk all over me. I woke up and immidiatly went to the game. I hung out with my usual game day friends. I spent the night catching up on my cartoons. I <3 teenage hunger force.

Jonah’s bachelor party is this weekend. We are going out on Saturday night and going to the Saints on Sunday. I am going to bring a paper bag just in case. It will be a good time.
This afternoon I am going to my weekly class. I am knocking them out pretty quick. I enjoy the guys in the class and the class itself.
I am finishing up two projects that have been lingering. I will be finished with both of them by the time I leave work. It is a relief especially after the allnighter on Monday. It hurt but it was what I needed to get through this. I have a whole chunk of information in my head that I didnt have before.

Gandolf turned me on to this excellent 3D artist Liam Kemp. I came across this render and sent it to Jonah and he thought it was a photo. The modeling and effects he uses are amazing. He used plugins from Turbo Squid such Hairfx, Clothfx and Dreamscape. To watch his short film and read an interview go here.

After an allnighter working on creating an intro for a new plugin and then going to work all day, I met Lara at the bus stop to walk her home. We were both so out of it from lack of sleep. The funny thing is we couldnt fall asleep once we got to the house. I think we were to wound up. We decided to chill out and watch my new favorite TLC program Overhaulin’. I am obsessed with show. I want to buy an old car and move to LA just to be eligable to be on the show. After watching the show we decided to go meet up with a friend of ours who is moving to New York today. We went to mollys to meet her and I ended up talking to a local tattoo artist, Walt about none other than Overhaulin’. Just about every guy around us had seen the same show. It was pretty funny how excited everyone got about a 62 Ford Falcon. Me and Lara got home pretty early and we were finally able to get some sleep.

Friday night I stayed at home for some all important Sonny time. I relaxed and caught up on some reading. I watched coneheads the movie which is probably one of the worst movies I have ever seen. I went and met Lara at 2am so that she would not have to ride home alone after work. The crime is so bad right now I really feel like I have to be on guard at all times.
Lara and I slept in on Saturday. We woke up at 11 a.m. and went to the park with Amby and grabbed some coffee at Zots. We came home I decided it was time to give Amby a much needed grooming. She had gobs of old hair that needed to be removed. She acted like a puppy for the rest of the day. I went to Plan B to do my volunteer work. I started building this awesome old road bike. It will be a great buy for someone who is tall enough for it. I helped teach a young lady the basics of her newly aquired Bianchi. I hung outi with the Plan B crew for a little while and then chilled at the house for the rest of the evening.
Sunday we woke up at 9 am and went to breakfast at 13. Lara went to school to do some experiments with copper plates for newest project. Her concept is great and I am excited to see how it comes out. I went home and fixed the bench swing in the back yard. The courtyard is almost finished I am so excited about having this place of serenity in New Orleans. It is a quite little oasis in the crazy city. I went to Plan B to take some pictures of Kids Day. Kids Day is a class set up for local children to learn about bike repair, cooperation and volunteering. The children go to 5 classes. The first half of the class they learn about bike repair and the second half the do volunteer work in the Plan B shop. At the end of the 5 classes they get to build their own bike to keep. It is a great program. I went and watched the Saints game which I dont want to talk about. Jonah sums up there crappy performence in a letter to Tom Benson. I went to One Eyed Jacks to see The Melvins. Man it was a good show. I got to see my friend Randy and other folks I havent seen in a while. I went to home around 3 and went to sleep. I have a ton of work to do this week so I needed as much sleep as possible.

I dont understand what C is trying to accomplish. It is making a difficult situation even worse. I just dont believe that she actually thought that I would spend $1200, let alone my time and energy to be around her. I never approached her nor did I ever try and contact her. Why would she lie and say that I didnt need the class, when I know, that she knew that I did? We had even talked about which intermidiate class I was going to take. The whole situation lacks a proper closure. Instead of being able to one day discuss what happened and be able to apologize for my part in a horrible event, now there is just animosity. There is relief for me because now I know who she is. Whatever her reasons are I am not going to dwell on it. I am going to finish up at Delgado next semester and graduate. I am in a good place now and I have new projects that need to be finished, so in a way it works out for me.
