Imagine 800,000 bats living under a bridge that is the size of a city block deciding to leave at the same time. It is basically the population of New Orleans leaving for a hurricane. Bats are much more efficient on there cooperation skills and they dont drive. It was a sight. I have never been here at the right time of year to see it.

When do you get back into town? Have you seen all the crazy Lance stuff going down? I can’t believe the Discovery Channel is the new sponsor. At least I’ll be able to score us loads of team schwag.

I will be home Friday but I am leaving NOLA at 6 to go to the NS for the race. I have mucho to tell you. I am having a awesome trip.
I really wanted to see the the Apple train but discovery is still good. Remember me when you get the hook up.

I signed up 2 more nola_bike_gang members tonight. Expect a call from a guy named Travis Friday. He’s down.
Dagger and I are both going to buy all-steel junkers tomorrow. We’re going to use them to make frankenbikes. I love the idea of putting an expensive Brooks Saddle on a $20 bike!
Also, I think I’m going to come into cov love for the final on Sunday. I’ve caught the bike meme like crazy and I think watch a day of races is just what I need right now.
